WHY does the up and coming new SNIper class called MARKSMAN (i think ) have an M14 wiht Scope. In my eyes this is the most stupid and rediculous and retarded thing not to give him a M14. The marines use the damm thing , solving the age old argument of "but they dont, sometimes use it".
However there is a new M16 sniper and it might not "fit" well but........
THE FACT is that the whole class system needs a overhall, getting of some and adding new ones - it is too arcady and the new system must encourage team work to the maxium but preserve REALISM and if possible included choise. Any form of custimization, if though out extremely carefully will be accepted by 90% of people and loved by most.

This isnt unrealistic, as Marines use shotguns in Iraq as a breaching weapon as well as a CQB weapon when clearing buildings and tight spaces.
Oh, I thought you meant just a shotgun (like the engineer), not a Masterkey or something like that.

I agree that the United States Marine Corps marksman should carry the M14 DMR. Alot more realistic, and is a kickass weapon.

Long Video about the SEALS which is very good and thye use the M14 in it. I wasn't sure that Force Recon used them, but just assumed it because I heard the SEALS and other Special Forces used them.

How does your brother like Force Recon?
He's been in active service with Force Recon for 5 years now. He just left for his 4th combat tour (1 in Afghanistan, 2 in Iraq). I know he enjoys his job and what he does, but he doesn't tell me much more then that.

Good luck. Getting in Force Recon is just as hard if not harder then SEALs.

Why dont u just get a real usmc engi to say what weapon they use instead of judging from pictures and what ppl say.

Combat Engineer
----------------
- Carbine (L22A1 x4sight / M4 x4 / AKS-74U x4sight / QBZ-97 x4sight) - 6 + 1 mags
- 2 hand grenades
- 4 C4 packs
- 4 AT mines
- 2 AP mines
Note it might seem a big pack but engineers will only need to be used for ambushes.
