Basically, dont host the server on a VM and it should run fine. The CPU is so strong that you can also turn up BR to 10 and run tracker with shijia still running smoothly.

Danesh is not needed for this

Let him post the specs anyway, if he says he has the strongest server in the entire PR community. Its basically comparing D.... the one with the biggest, gets all the respect, right?

i7-7700K CPU @ 5GHz OC'd
64 gb of ram.
2 x 500gb SSDs in RAID

Why FCV dont keep the PRServer at west coast? With $50 you can host PRServer without any lag... and i think 50$ for bluedrake is not much...

AU/JP people are playing with +250 ping... and it is not playable...

The server is currently 120$ a month, which providor can match these specs on the west coast?

The old server was on Los Angeless or Utah? (I am 99% sure it was on Utah)

Both servers has free IPMI. With this, you can install ubuntu 12.04 manually and host your own mumble server.

And before people start laughing about Pentium G3220, it is enough to host ONE PRServer without any lag, even with tracker enabled and maybe with new prism (less lagy now). PRServer dont need SSD, XEON with 32 cores 128gb RAM or 1gbps connection...

I worked in one GameServer company, i know what i am talking about...

1. Switching mumble takes a month.
2. We are using the same server to host a squad server.
3. If we buy this server we cant host the squad server on the same box, increasing our costs. (Which we get from backers)
4. These servers suck in comparison to what we have.

Summary: You say you know what you are talking about, but this really is not quite up to par with what we currently have.

That server is not as good as what we have, and Squad needs more than 4.2ghz since it is extremely unoptimzied.

I would say we are happy with our choice and will remain with OVH unless their Customer Service becomes terrible or someone can offer us the same hardware for a lower price.

Well, its the same CPU (i7 7700K)...

i7 7700K + 16gb RAM + 2x 250gb SSD (raid) = $116

I will not insist about that anymore. Rip AU/NZ/JP players ??:

The CPU is not overclocked Danesh. Noone else can provide that

You should really look into disabling hyperthreading if it's just a web server +1x squad +1x PR and nothing else.
