It's looking pretty nice! It's really coming along now. I'd smooth out those peaks and so on for a more natural look, and little details here and there like suggested. Also how the hell did you get it all working without it crashing every time you did something? I manage to get mine working till I add something more than spawn/capture points and a jeep or something. IT'S SO ANNOYING!

maps look good. i got 1 question the map is in the desert right, are there large sand dunes or sand hills to use and cover or is it flat land.

Put as much detail in as possible, plants, rubble, rocks, stuff, etc. be creative, use things we woudln't expect in some areas, like some road blocks being a make shift fence around some part of some poorer guys yard or something.
and the pic with the gas station... the road needs some help.
I'll beta test! Its looking awesome.
yes that road is messed up i know i saw that after i took the screenshot. i htink i will post more screens of the map but only editor ones as im running out of time to set the level every time so i can get ingame shots. also the map is a mix of big open areas and sand(rock)dums for cover with small villages in them with BAD roads nest to imposable to pass with atasnk making it more of a inf/hummer type battles in the small villiges( so i hope will see in the beta test) also ill add you to the list Figisaacnewton ASAP

The map is looking good and im really liking it, I especially love how your going to keep the 400km view distance makes shooting other people from a longer distance much better.
If you are still looking for Beta testers you can count me in, if not then ill hopefully play it soon enough anyway

.
Keep up the good work

to help snipers not rule the map put in a lot of apc and hummves. i sniper might get a lucky shot on a movering hummer but not much. they would probaly be good at geting the guys who are runing around the middle of no where. i saw a city and if it got a lot of buildings in the way the sniper will be shoting people at 60m and then it even. i think there should be a lot of hummers at a main bace, or even some unarmored cars and trucks to taransport people and keep them safe from snipers, and the sniper rifle loses it acuracy after 250m the shot is off by a foot or so after that and at 400m probaly a lot more.

Keep it comin blackbird! Once you get the editor down maybe you can apply to do work for PR? I really like your style of mapping and would love to see your work in the mod.

Do you use the BF2 Mod start up or the PRMM_02 Mod Start up in the editor? Blackbird.

looks great, on the first screen though i especially like how its pretty flat for a little while until it gets to the hills, sould make for a few neat looking landings.

w00t, got a 2000 verson of the editor..

texturing is abit annoying.. specially if ur using 1 basic texture over a large area can be tedious. specially running at 2 fps

Blackbird. How do you fancy running some evening classes in mapping for those of us who want to do it, but that lack the patience or skill to actually spend time figuring it out. The BF2 editor is pants, I used to do some maps for BF:V but can't be arsed working out the new editor ( it hurts me head ), there are numerous different TS available and I am sure no-one would mind turning them over to you for the odd evening class. Certainly the Realitygamingonline TS will be made available if you are interested in teaching the n00bies how to do it.
