Good point, though some of us like to use Humvees and the like to quickly get to parts of the map early in the round to either: hold up the enemy till the rest of the team arrives (works when the other team is slow and/or disorganize) or make a stealthy maneuver and flank the enemy. All of which, the Support Trucks, have difficulty of achieving (slow and cumbersome... can't get up certain hills, etc.)[R-DEV]fuzzhead wrote:Yes, you have NO CHOICE except for all those APC's that are sitting there untouched
Most maps have at least 2 APC's, which is capable of transporting HALF THE TEAM. Why theyre not used is beyond me.... IRL that is the prefered method of transport (inside an armored vehicle). Supply Trucks should be used to transport supplies and troops to a position behind the frontline, not on top of the frontline
Having a half decent commander, you can quickly get 2 bunkers, 2 firebases and 1 command post up, that is 15 transport vehicles in about 15 minutes....
