If you want to start mapping for BF2 / PR, here is a list of all the tuts you need to do to get to grips with how BF2 works and how to map for it and PR.
First you need to download and install the BF2 Editor.

6. Setting up your editor
Now we need to set up the editor to work with our new pr_edit so you can load all the statics etc.
First its best if you install these files that will help you crate maps for PR by making the editor more compatible with PR's settings etc. Download this .rar and extract it to: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\" (overwrite any files it asks you to).
Inside it are a few editor files and little extras to help you

NOTE: in addition to this to get the most upto date object spawner templates, you should copy the "bf2editor" folder out of "\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\readme\" and paste it into your Battlefield 2 folder, overwriting the folder with the new one. Do this after you have exacted the above "PR_EDIT.rar" otherwise you will have the old object spawner templates.

in the first link is the BF2 Editor v1.3.exe download, not the PR_EDIT.rar and for the second one note the "NOTE:" bit on the end I've added, don't want to get rid of the link fully as its got useful stuff in that .rar

My bad,
To much selective reading for me today: by brain tells me what I want to see!
IMO, for that 2nd post, I would make that note in red and bold, so, distracted readers like myself, don't miss it over and over

Canada should have atleast 1 Leopard2 in INS mode... Canadian where the first to send them in.

Was going to included it in AAS, but the final layout will probably be deiced by the R-Dev team depending on game-play trials.

AAS with insurgents never turns out well in my books.
Well in IRL that what it all is, but you should stick to insurgence. and maybe since the Taliban have the same voices as MEC a different layer can have them as AAS :3
