We have 2 "reserved" slots that allow Supporting Members (aka paying subscribers) to join the server, leaving us with 62 open slots. If you connect at 62 or 63 players, you will be "kicked" for teamkilling but in reality the fact is is that the script managing the SM slots didn't recognize you as a Supporting Member and removed you from the server. Please note that you may also be automatically removed from the server during a round if a Supporting Member joins the server. This is the longest playing person on the server that is not a Supporting Member and is selected solely (by the script logic) on this criteria and this criteria only.

Please try to join when the server shows 60 or fewer players, although since .95 has been released we've been running full pretty much 24/7. The best advice I can give is to be patient and keep trying.

With the release of .95, and me not being a supporting member and all, it seems I need to start going through the grieving process, and must become accustomed to the fact that I will never play on TG again...

:D

Hey, I seem to be banned from your server! I know there are reserved slots but I still get a "kicked" message even if I try to connect while there are only 40 players in.

My ingame name is the same as my nick on here. I haven't played on that server in months (maybe more than that) and didn't misbehave when I was there. Do you mind taking a look into it? Cheers.

Please contact us on our forums regarding any bans. There is a link to the "Contact an Admin" forum in my signature block. We will address bans there, not in these forums. Thanks.

Im just wondering and dont think this really requires its own thread so....

Is it possible to have the |TG| tags without being a SM? Because i see people with TG tags being kicked all the time

Tactical Gamer is a community, not a clan, and as such, we have minimal requirements to wear our tags. Essentially, by wearing them you signify that you agree with our philosophy on gaming and agree to uphold our Primer.

Some threads on our forums that go into more detail:
There are plenty more threads if you do a search on the forum, but I think you get the idea behind it from looking through these. I hope this answers your question, Chicken, and if you need anything else drop me a line on the TG forums.

Soooo, how long does it normally take for the crowd to die down after a new release? I noticed that the server isn't 64/64 anymore (usually), but obviously there are still a lot of supporting members playing because the few times I'm able to get on, I get removed in rather quick fashion to make room for SM.

64/64 is because of an error in the script that occurs sometimes. The server is still going strong, and normally people release-hype gets lower around a month after release.

For some reason a dumbass from TG, wraith or something, decided to troll on another server, soloing the BTR in main and thus rendering the BTR squad locked in main since he was not willing to GTFO of the apc.

I believe those were false tags on a griefer. I'm not aware of any players who go by Wraith at TG and no one with Wraith as part of their name has posted on the TG forums since February.

Would need the actual name to know any more.
