Ok, will do. No respawn for tanks, but I'm still in doubt with the CP non-spawning cabability. I might do that with the middle #3 CPs maybe, cause I'm afraid it's too far from the other CP's, since the only vehicle spawners are ont he main bases.
Now, I'd aprecciate a little help. I got this message
[Geom] : TBM: Need uncompressed texture!
whenever I try to paint anything on the terrain. I tryed bfeditor.org and all I found was in case you had used a custom texture (at least it's what I got from it), I didn't use a custom texture.
It's freekin strange. aprecciate any kind of help.

wrt the spawning at forward CPs... er.... v0.5 has some changes to the spawn mechanics that should be taken into consideration. If I tell you waht they are I'll have to kill you
BUT... within the next couple of days we should finalise the tweaking to these new features and we'll post up some more details (both for mappers and players).

but Well,
Had some major problem with my HD tuesday, so I had to format a partition and all that bunch of procedures... Still didn't really figure out what caused it, but I lost a lot of stuff in one of my 3 partitions, including Bf2, luckly I had a backup copy of the map with like 2 days late or something....
So when I fix things up and Re-instal Bf2 I'll post an update.

Yeah, I'll release a beta soon but first I gotta figure out this textures problem. I just can't find **** on bfeditor.org, neither could I figure it out by myself. I reinstalled bf2 and no difference. Probably the problem is within the level's textures anyway... For instance I'm just trying to work a little bit more statics and undergrowth.

The problem is exactly this.

It's what displays on the console. Anyways, I can paint the detail texture but when I try both or the colour, that's what comes up, so I can deduce it's the colour's fault. I'll try to regenerate everything on tpaint and see what happens right now. After that.. Only finishing undergrowth and I might release a beta, even without the correct lightmaps or all the static objects.
edit:
dude, what really p*sses me off here is that it's just damn slow. I regenerated on tpaint but forgot to delete the groundproperties.con inside editor folder, so I'll have to reopen the editor, what takes me 15 minutes. lol.

I will get editor screens then.
Tryed everything that came to my mind but still having the same problem =/
In the meantime I think I finished 90% undergrowth (only missing the desert-like stuff in the empty areas), still gotta work a little bit with the roads and just a few more things with the statics. Only big problem is the textures really (and then the lightmaps, but only after a beta)

Yah I know it's not cute but it's the only way hehe
Also I've been traveling and going out a lot in this vacations, but while on the road I think I figured a way to solve the textures
Btw, it would be a sin not to use that wonderfull bridge

There will be. Statics ones and usable. But once you lose them, they won't respawn.
Also, i sorted out the textures thing.
but I cannot use tpaint.
whenever I try, I get the errorl. Guess I'll have to paint the whole map myself =(
edit: ****, this will never happen lol
It takes just too long... gonna try to make tpaint work

lol, i must admit I had to take some time to understand what you where talking about... hahahah... (really gotta stop drinking before reading forums lol)
You probably meant the screens on top of this page. They're like that because there's no ground texture in them, hehe. Don't worry, I'll add it.
Project is stuck cause I began a new map a few days ago, and it's *meant* to go on a brazilian tournment, and school is back again...
