Just a quick question, did you guys translate things like squad or Heavy Anti tank as well. Im not sure if i should redo these parts.

this is the place where you decide, we personally decided to translate all things, though some people from community didnt like it and said that specific words should stay(like rally point), or proposed "slang" translation(RP= "rallik" i.e.)
i think if you're translating- translate everything or it just dont worth it, though with full translation you can run into some troubles, i.e. there is no direct equivalent to marksman in russian army)

Yep, i know what you mean. Ive translated literally everything. But that could lead to problems if they happen to be in a english speaking squad.

And anoter thing that just came to my mind. How do we know if the words will fit in the new Comrose?

you can check it in current version
there are 2 ways
1. take your german localization files and put them into English localization directory(dont forget to back up)
2. make German folder in localization directory, then change some parameters in registry
path looks like(may differ a bit depending on your OS)

find there "Language" and change to German(or whatever you called your folder with your localization files)

If it fits in the current version, it "should" fit with the new commorose. Should :p

When I get some time, I'll get around to sorting out all the fonts for you guys (that is a pretty epic task :p ), and I'll be doing testing of my own and sending you screenshots of things that don't fit. I am just hoping I get the time to do it before 0.9... It's not an easy task, nor is it a quick task...

I also need to add a whole bunch of new strings to the localisation for you all to translate :) .

Oh, just a reminder if anyone has forgotten, you should NOT be translating anything in prmaps.utxt except for the gamemode description. Map names and CP names are not to be translated, use the english version please :) .

If you don't speak like 8 languages I think you'll have a hard time knowing wether a word ends correctly or not. If you somehow fix the font we could test ourself and you would save some time and headache.

I could not update the swedish pr.utxt.

I've added pr_thisisthenewestone.utxt to the swedish translation folder someone else with the right privileges has to alter it.

If you have tested it in game, and you don't CTD, just remove the former file and add the new.
It's the way I've done it. ;)
