Hmm i assume that no chance for free pr0n in next release? ;]

Back on topic...
I've found gameplay much slower than in 0.25..becouse there is still not too many assault guys with ammo around and too many sniper in this release... everyone wants to try new silenced gun.
8s delay with nades is a bit too much for me... there is no nade spam threat now becouse, as i said, not too many assault guys around and player will think twice wasteing ammo resupply on nades only.
Also problem with medic revives still exists :/ I know BF2 engine error.. but it sucks ;]

Great mod....hats off to the developers.

The maps are sweet but for a few minor problems on the night maps.

Someone already mentioned the lighting issue near buildings(like a spotlight blinking on and off) but I don't think other players can see it unless they're in your player radius. NVG works ok for me, just stay away from lit areas.

Ammo drops are a little long to be picked up.

I like the "bleeding factor". Really makes u aware of where your medics are.

Just a couple of questions about kits. Why did the AT kit only get a pistol? And why did the sniper kit lose claymores?

Anyway great mod.

very weird
on JUNGLE FEVER and the XXL map, get perfect fps until the moment i look down the horizon.. on jungle i thought it was due to the moving grass (high grass of steel thunder dont lag though).. but xxl map is a DESERT, and my fps fall hardly when looking kind to the floor

weird! maybe it wasnt noticeable to the others players because they have good configs (mine is amdxp2600+, 512ram, hd sata, ati 9600pro 256/12 8)

Yeah, I think my low FPS is to do with my RAM. I normally have perfect ping, but I get serious video lag in built up areas. I have a decent GFX card and a decent processor, so it's gotta be that.

Some of these "balances" are ridiculous, I'm happy to hear that you are gonna lower the grenade reload time. The AT kit needs a rifle, I don't even understand the reasoning behind removing it in the first place? That kind of balancing really turns me off, especially on a mod claiming realism. The C4 on the spec ops is useless, the ammo count on all kits is very low, among other things. I know you want to promote teamplay but it's really killing the realism, and when I downloaded a 800MB "realism minimod" I was expecting realism.

And don't listen to the whinning about snipers, snipers are a supposed to be deadly, if you got killed by a sniper, tough luck, that's war, maybe you should be calling for armor support or use squad tactics rather than crying on the forums because the snipers killed you.

Well, after some trouble getting the game started, I'd have to say this mod is great! Everything I've always wanted from BF2 (no hud and crosshairs among other things). Haven't spent much time with it yet, so I guess I don't really have any useful feedback, but after a few sleepless nights I'll be back with my own little peeves and nitpickings

As many have already said, absolutely wonderful job with .3 Dev's. I had kinda stopped playing for a while when the community dwindled and it was hard to find games, but this is what I have been waiting for. Any very minor negative issues I have thought of have already been adressed. Thanks again!

This topic has been discussed many many times on the forums. I suggest you do a search and find past topics on it. These usually go into good depth on the subject.

Alright after having an AMAZING weekend of yelling killing and excitement while playing PR .3 here is my feedback.

We need to go into further testing with Extraction mode and certain maps, namely karkand. I beleive that MEC spawn points should be lessened on the 64 player map.

Muttrah City..... thank you Rhino, this is definatly my favorive map, 64 player version is just amazing.

Work on night vision, nuff said.

LOVE the new loadouts, I feel the way we have kits set up REALLY brings a squad closer together and makes them more dependent on eachother a major major plus.

the new US sniper rifle really doesnt unbalance things like i thought it was going to.

new scoring system is really cool! emphasizing even more on teamwork, nice job on that one guys ;)

bringing the commander back really makes games alot more fun. i think we could look into which maps need and dont need artillery. when playing muttrah city, i like the fact that there is no arty, the blackhawk IS the arty, and its so big and AT rockets work so well its not an imbalance.

needless to say PR somehow got even MORE fun! my favorite quotes ive seen while playing

"Yay for teamwork" - on an extraction map when everyone convoyed together.
"PR is my new favorite mod!"
"Artilery is available on your command"
"Cool everyone on this squad has mics" - and we used them damn well too!

Yeah, I love telling the Squad Leaders that the artillery's ready, but the only SL who ever responded to that was DEDMON. :(

I gotta agree with everything you said there, it's all true. Thanks Devs. :D

I tried to get on it yesterday but it was maxed out, so I went on GH. For some reason, the BF2 browser tells me I'll get 200 ping from the TC server, although I've never been on it, I'm not sure if that'd earn me a kick or something. If I see slots open today I'll try to get in. ;)

click on the TC server and it will do a refresh of the ping. Its also in Texas, same as the GHz server and there is no kick for high pings.

yes come to TC! i had an absolute blast on it the past day. its my new #1 server. and dare i say it... ive had so much fun on the server and had so many "moments" that i could give a toss about ABR or anything. All that stuff really doesnt matter with so much emphasis on teamwork. although the playing today was so fantasticly organized that i wish battlerecorder was on it so i could relive those moments!

in fact, today i had a chuckle when i saw an AT missle pass through a little birds cockpit resulting in a "BF2 moment" f-that, that was PR moment!!!

Yeah, I have no major problems with GH so it should work. Hope to see you on the 'field later. :)

My only complain is that you cant squadjump because i usually play with my clan its a pain in the *** to start over again, and the spawntime to damn long dont know if that is the server settings or prmm, the idea that you get 1 more second every time is quite a pain to, otherwise a great game!
