thanks guys :)

Thanks for the feedback on that rule. We have since changed that rule to be identical to our UCB/Main rules: Do not fire into it unless fired upon. Obviously this is to prevent baserape of the insurgents in their mosques.

but still it was sad to be kicked after 30 minutes of playing just because i was one of the 1st who re-joined server after crash
This is why you wait a little and let the server fill up to about 40 people before joining ;)

This is our current rotation, at least as of this morning:

Assault on Mestia 64 (mec-inf)
Qwai River 64 (mec-inf)
Jabal 64 (combined arms)
Fools Road 64 (mec-inf)
Kashan Desert 32 (attack choppers - combined arms)
Sunset City 64 (infantry)
Muttrah City 64 (combined arms/mec-inf)
7Gates 64 (infantry)
Battle For QinLing 64 (combined arms)
Bi Ming (infantry)
Kozelsk (mec-inf)
Kashan Desert 16 (infantry)

There are 2 maps that are truly combined arms in PR - Kashan and QinLing. When QinLing starts people groan and we lose about 25% of the server population. Why, I don't know. Personally, I enjoy the map.

However, the point is that there are 2 - TWO - maps in all of PR that feature combined arms. Regardless, in every map you absolutely, 100% need infantry to succeed.

When .9 is released there will be more maps. Until then, we have to play the cards we're dealt.

ok, but im curiouse about your kashan setting, you drop it to only 32? dosent that do away with the armor and some of the vehicles?? and i apologise i didnt realise that for most of the maps they had done away with much needed support vehicles ( by support i mean APC, combat aircraft, hummers ect, since i am a Infantryman in real life i see everything else as support ) :)

Kashan and QinLing have different asset load-outs for the different layers.

Kashan 64: Both sides get a fighter (F-16/MiG) and a CAS jet (A-10/Frogfoot), transport choppers, tanks, IFVs (Bradley/BMP), AAVs and logistic trucks
Kashan 32: 2xattack choppers replace the fighters, the rest of the load-out remains the same
Kashan 16: Humvees/BRDMs, logistic trucks

QinLing 64: 2xjets, 2xattack choppers, transport choppers, tanks, apcs, logistic trucks (too many assets - usually only 1 dedicated infantry squad per team)
QinLing 32: Mec-Inf - both sides get apcs, transport choppers and logistic trucks. PLA has advantage in that their apcs carry troops with the British team get Scimitar recce vehicles.
QinLing 16: Infantry layer with logistic trucks (I can't remember if this has any choppers or not)

TG usually plays 32 Kashan because the jets tend to completely dominate the map while the choppers tend to leave it a little more balanced. We do run the 64 layer, though.

Had a couple very good, enjoyable rounds this evening on Fools Road and Al Basrah. Fantastic turn around on Fools with lots of teamwork between squads leading to a Russian cap out having been on only one flag when I joined. Absolute pleasure being in Dispo's squad, very competent leader.

Basrah was also great fun, although the British team weren't great.

Only thing I can continue to disagree with is the auto-kick for supporting members, kinda sad when im 19-4 as an insurgent and get removed in this way but then with games as enjoyable as this I may start contributing myself.

Keep it up.

Support or be kicked...pretty simple equation to evaluate. I have no problems getting kicked as I am able to play out of their hospitality.

I got kicked for a supporting member? What's that, and why is it when I try to get on the server it say's i've been banned, or does that mean its full? The server was at 62/64, why won't it let me in, I feel entitled to be allowed to play on the server whenever i want to.

Also why do I get kicked for joining a squad taking a sniper kit, HAT, or Combat Engineer kit and then leave to make my own one man squad?

Also why is it that when there are 4 Transport Helo squads I can't make my own, I like to fly around the map even if there's a lot of AA, and even if people don't want transport. I think flying into AA makes you a better pilot and gives you more experience especially if you don't deploy flares.

Why do I get yelled at if I hover over a sniper team, if anything I can see farther than they can and if a tank or HAT, or Infantry fires, they are going to fire at me.

Nuh-uhhh!

*Ok, I laughed at the chopper over sniper bit since my first thought was chopper corpse killed by the tank/HAT falling onto the sniper :)
