would there be some code that could be made to where if your an insurgent...or whatever opposition force using the other teams weapons that you wouldnt be able to rearm it at your own ammo supply point...being it a cashe or whatever....or would that be to hard.....
and having read all 8 pages i would have to say i would be in favor of just removing pick up kits, its simpler more realistic but which ever way pr goes...wheather stay the same or takes pickup kits away...ill still enjoy playing as an insurgent.

I like that I can pick up enemie's kits, in fact I would like to be able to use enemie's trucks, tanks, etc. This is a Project Reality, historically opposing sides always used enemy weapons to their benefits. In WWII Germans used Soviet weapons extensively, for example, setting up workshops to upgrade Soviet T-34 to their standards i.e installing radio equipment. They had hundreds T-34's in their service, including in elite units. Same for Soviet Army, using Tiger and Panther tanks in their ranks.
Israeli Army used captured Syrian and Egyptian equipment for variety of purposes. Same in Vietnam War, Viet Cong used US equipment, and US used some of the captured Russian and Chinese weapons, mostly AKs to arm allies and in some A-teams.
So, if anything PR should allow more extensive use of enemy weapons, not less.

I recently killed someone with taking a kit looking like an enemy. Trust me, if you double check you'd know it's a hostile or friendly.

Well for one at least with more advanced weapons systems the enmy would have to be trained to know how to use it, hence pilot and crewman kits simulate those properly trained crew. Not to mention all empty vehicles that are operable by both sides show up on the minimap for both sides.

If you zeroed a weapon, you zeroed it. It's zeroed for everyone. Unless you're terrible at shooting, you should shoot it the same.

So yes, don't get rid of kit pickup. Why fix what isn't broken?

In real life there aren't little blue and green nametags that pop up over your head to reveal to your friendlies your on their side. Target recognition is a lot more serious, running around with an enemy weapon, let alone their gear, would be completely stupid and IS NOT permitted unless in extreme circumstances or in some sort of Special Operation. And their isn't a magical map that shows all your friendlies and their exact location in real time. And yes their is a lot of communication between individual squads so they know each others locations at pretty much all times, but that is beyond the point. The point is that picking up enemy kits PERIOD is often a deathtrap, in real life, and sometimes in PR.
