Great server, favorite thing about is that you almost always are assured to have an above average-to-great squad leader. I play PR for the slower-pace and team aspect of game-play, and having a good-to-great SL just makes it so easy to relax and focus on immersing ones self in the game play rather then dealing with idiots, raging n00bs, and other crappier aspects of gaming.

Why such a heavy variation in player numbers? Going from 64 to 32 kicks half the players off the server, that seems a bit silly if the numbers are still there to keep 64 players around.

Its not like vanilla mate each map 16/32/64 is to do with what assets are available. 16 tends to be skirmish or no heavey assets. the 32/64 maps may be the difference from attack helis or on 64 maps are jets. They are called map layers.

Ah, had no idea. Thanks for clearing that up.

What Orford said.
I think the proper names would be standard, alternative and infantry layers, but since they are only referred to by the numbers (64/32/16) in PR's map folder that's what most people use.

If you want to know more about what's on each layer of a certain map, check out this map overview gallery the Devs made:

Its one of the best US servers out there when admins are on but the server is left unadmined far to often witch in PR is unacceptable. Also notice you guys have major issues with seeding at peak times.

Call me captain obvious but recruitment is needed desperately to compete with the other servers.

That isn't necessary at all.

Dude come on TG is as it says North America. I see your in the UK so peak time would be say 10pm Uk time onwards. As it gets late in Europe and the server start to empty around 11pm UK time the hardcore (unemployed/students) then go over to the US servers. I had a great game the other night, came home from the Pub went on TG I was there from 2.30am till 5.30am awesome game. I was off the next day so though id give it a go.
May be some european admins for early doors, I dont see TG having any issues. Great server Great games Greta blokes.

I haven't been playing as much in the past week as before but for the past few nights I've noticed that the server is empty around 6p.m-9p.m PST. I could always count on TG to have a round going around this time fully populated. What's going on?

I was just in the server on a skirmish map trying to seed it and it crashed ... server issues lately?

More like player issues. All the fancy new games coming out recently took their toll on the server population.
