XFire video

Post by pr_profile »

Hello everybody! I've got a question about Xfire videos.

When I'm capturing video I get big video file (which is actually made of image frames) in video folder and a screenshot with the last frame of that video. But I don't want to store this file on my HDD because it takes a lot of space. Then I'm uploading this file to Xfire and I get the other compressed file, wich has .mp4 format. So I have 3 files for one video in video folder:

I want to leave this .mp4 file on HDD, but for some reason I'm not able to view it neither with Windows Media Player nor with the latest version of Media Player Classic:

Despite the fact that MPC has the option to playback .mp4 files:

And when the video is uploaded to Xfire (guess it is that .mp4 file) everybody can watch it and the video is fine, it means that .mp4 file is not corrupted.

So, the question is how to playback .mp4 file in windows without any third-party programs (I want to use just MPC or WMP)?
