Right first of all, if you're reading this and you want to reply by dishing out a load of rubbish and abuse about Macintosh, then please leave the thread, i don't want/need you're opinion.
Now i know there have been a few posts about this subject before, although the overall answer seems to be 'I very much doubt it, it may be possible but I'm not sure..' So something struck me from a post i read recently somewhere, were someone said it was possible to play an old version of PR on Mac OS X (it was like 0.74 or something old). Anyhow if that is possible (they had proof of the game being played) then is it not possible to play the newer versions?
However, yes I am aware of the alternate methods to playing the game such as Bootcamp etc.... Any help would be appreciated,
Cheers.

You can't play the newer versions since the advent of PR.exe & TR.exe, which don't have mac equivalents, I believe...
Prior to that (when the macs could play) I believe it was due to PR just running straight off BF2 as a modline.

So basically in simple terms it's more complicated, the way PR is made, than how it used to? That's a shame... :/

A shame? PR.exe & TR.exe have enabled the amazing things like thermals and the interactive compass... I definitely wouldn't call it a shame (especially since mac users can just boot into windows these days).UK-frontline-force wrote:So basically in simple terms it's more complicated, the way PR is made, than how it used to? Re: Mac OSX running PR?
You cant play PR on MAC OSX.
You can play PR on Windows 7 installed onto your Mac
Its called Bootcamp and it comes with MAC OSx Leopard and up.
If you need more information on this and how to do it PM Me.
As i have Mac Osx Snow Leopard and can run most games higher than most
