Green (no textures???) weapons.

Hi! I just downloaded few hours ago PR. When i played it, weapons and vehicles were light green. Is there any fix for that?`Here's a picture of my problem. The picture is not mine, but the meaning of the problem is shown:



Can anyone help me? I really love PR but I can't play if it is soo unfair. (I saw enemies very easily )

P.S. I have never used/downloaded hacks for BF2 or PR or any other BF2 mod, like few persons IG mentioned ...

1) Try deleting your system cache in your My Documents/Battlefield 2/mods/bf2/cache

if that doesnt work...reinstall the game and make sure you do it in the right order:

BF2 -> Patch 1.41 -> Patch 1.5 -> PR

I have played it with 512MB of ram. (little lag)

Game doesn't lag or anything. Only thing are the weapons and vehicles and assets aswell.

Clear your bf2 cache and lower graphic settings, turn off AA if its on. Can you post a screenshot of your video setting tab in PR?

Have you tried joining some deployment server? Do you have maybe PB problems / kicks for MD5 mismatch?

Coing to try it now. Reinstalled, cleared cache, lowered graphic settings, AA was off and i already have played in servers. No PB problems or kicks before. So I'll go and play it now I will update.

never seen this before....are you using just BF2's graphics options or some ATI control panel ones too?

I am using only BF2 graphic options. Haven't thought about using ATI control panel aswell. If You or someone who knows about that control panel could say what i should do then it would be awesome. It may even help.

I have seen this before just the color is not the same. It happened to me but all those objects were not flashy green but completely black - like missing. I solved it by deleting shader cache and letting it optimize again. But this is new stuff, I'm quite sure it has something to do with shaders. I'm thinking your graphic card is the problem here or the drivers. Do you have same problems in vBF2? Did you start BF2 first after install or PR?

Hmm maybe that's the problem. Delete the whole Battlefield 2 folder in My Documents and after that run vBF2 first, you will need to retrieve your account, edit your settings ( including audio and video ) and then try joining online BF2 server. Dont alt+tab while its optimizing shaders. Once you do that, close vBF2, and start PR. Problem should be gone.
