PR Mumble Buffer Issue

Post by Q2M100 »

I am having trouble setting up my Mumble so that there is no jittery audio. So far I have tried all of the available settings (10-60 ms) and nothing has been able to get rid of the jitter.

I am using a pair of Turtle Beach X31 headsets by the way which are wireless RF. My motherboard is a Biostar TZ68A+.

Have you tried it with wired speakers is there jitter if you use them too?

If not try reinstalling and make sure you have admin rights on your account - you will need to run mumble setup as admin and in compatibility mode for xp ( Im guessing here that you have Win7 )

Also check almost all boxes on compatibility tab except the one for resolution. I had same problem with jitter but no headset like you have. I solved it by fixing my account. Somehow after certain windows update I lost some rights on app data folder and it caused this problem.
