Punkbuster problem.

Hi,

First off i would like to say: "BEST MOD EVER"


Since recently i've been experiencing problems, I get kicked out of servers for this reason:


Missing MD5Tool: C:/Programfiles/EAGAMES/MODS/PR/Levels/Jabal/



I've downloaded the punkbuster again but it does not help. (it just runs a test)
(PunkBuster Online Countermeasures) --> this doesn't work!


Can anyone help me with this problem?

I believe I had the same problem try doing a repair install thats what fixed it for me

Hi. Its possible from error that you get that your install is corrupt and you are missing some files. Reinstall will probably solve this problem and please disable your AV software while you are doing it to avoid false positives.

To do this just go to Control Panel - Programs and features and uninstall Project Reality. Do a system cleanup after that and reboot. Install PR again update PB and reboot. Problem should be solved

One question though - are you able to start BF2 and join online server? Check that first please, before you do anything. If you are not able to start or play online vanilla BF2 then you might need to reinstall it too.

Are you being kicked for MD5 tool mismatch?

As I said try playing vanilla BF2 first before you do anything. It is possible I can help but Im not sure if that is the real solution.

ye sI had the same problem just either re install or do a repair install

both are in the same menu

I believe it was caused by AV software

same problem again, i looked at my program files and the mods/levels/jabal/server.zip is gone again, why does this file keep disapearing? and can someone maybe send me this file?

Check your antivirus quarantine it might be picking up false positives.

Get the file [s]on this link[/s] and notify me once you get it to so I can delete it.

The file goes to mods/pr/levels/jabal/
