Hey guys,
The Project Reality IT Support Team is looking for some fresh blood.
As a Support Technician you are responsible for both Hardware and Software Support within the PR forums.
Its your job to keep the Support Forum structured and get the questions answered and problems solved.
You will need a good understanding of PR itself and other software, as well as a deep know-how about computers and hardware.
Power of endurance is important and absolutely vital in the daily life as a Support Team Member.
Remember: PR Tec is a serious role within the PR team and not an easy way to gain the 'tags', gain access to pre-release information or test builds.
As a R-COM you represent the team and we expect a mature behavior in all matters.
Furthermore it requires good communication skills, the ability to explain yourself and - very important - be willing to work as a member of a small team.
So if you think you've got the time and skills required to be a PR Technician then please apply below, giving us the following information.
Applications via private Messages or e-mail will be deleted, as will posts that are not questions about the role or actual applications.
Closing date for applications will be: Friday the xxth of January, the successful applicant(s) will be notified via PM after that date.

Age/Location: 31/Serbia
Length of time on forums: about a year on PR forums and in general Im on forums all my life
Rough "daily browsing time"/frequency of visits:
roughly around 5-6 hours / visiting mostly afternoon and during night ( GMT+1)
Previous relevant experience:
IT support technician in goverment Urbanism institute, technical personnel in IT shop - building, repairing, maintaining desktop computers, fair knowledge of managing and building websites ( apache, mysql, php )
What technical skills you would bring to the team/Why you'd be a good Support Technician:
hardware maintenance, building PC's, operating systems ( installation/troubleshooting ), managing websites ( preparing environment for specific needs of websites, installing needed software ) / Why? Its all in dedication. Man can be good in something, if he invests a lot of time in it, and if he is willing to learn. If you're not really into it, dont bother, you will fail. This is from personal experience.
Why you want to be part of the Team:
I'm spending a fair amount of time on these forums, and I'm always trying to help people to fix their problems. I guess that's a professional deformation ( can call it like that ), and Im in general, spending a lot of time in building and maintaining game servers ( with BF2
R being the top among them ). At home I'm working on small shop for PC repairs, which is what I do in last 15 years. And I want a cool tag

Previous relevant experience:Past work: Office IT admin, Oracle Financials DB codemonkey. Custom Audio PC OEM builder and customer service rep Rain Computers | Audio + Video Workstations , Local IT shop build/repair guy,
What technical skills you would bring to the team/Why you'd be a good Support Technician:I am a good Support Technician, but found better work. I've built over 100 PCs, mostly custom Audio rigs, I have made extra cash for years doing PC repairs, probably over 150 PCs in the last decade.
Why you want to be part of the Team:I don't really want to "be part of the team", my motivation is to contribute something back to the PR community, PR is about the only game I play these days. I can easily take the load off the dev team in regards to the support forum tech issues.
I wholeheartedly support Massive being made the new tech forum support guy. I'll chime in anyways with or without a tag as long as I continue to play PR. I just bought ArmaII on sale at Steam for 50% off today, so I'll be jumping in to both mods.
