Email Verification Problems

When I register on some forums, whenever the validation link/email gets sent to your email address I sometimes never get it. I check spam folders, junk ones. Ive tried different email addresses, different email places ie hotmail, gmail etc and it still doesnt recieve it. Anyone know this problem and got a fix?
