I still enjoy a good round of Muttrah. I really don't mind if my team is losing either. Gameplay could be improved if flags were set for AASv4 and changed each map.

Bottom line. I still think it's fun, but so many people are spoiled and just get bored of playing anything more than 10 times. Until I was 17 all the games I played were offline unless I went to a friend's house, so I could only play co-op as I had no internet. Christ people, stop fucking bitching, you all sound like a bunch of woman. If you're "so sick of Muttrah" go make your own maps. Wow.

It's one of the best Urban warfare maps we have in PR, and the gameplay is solid. There's a frontline system that just works with AAS standard.

Its a good map don't get me wrong but i feel it needs some tweaks. The complete lack of cover on most roads is kinda of a pain. Maybe a Return to Muttrah map with the city all burnt up and destroyed would be cool.

The map still has some epic rounds, especially if you are playing on a good server. TG knows how to do Muttrah right.

I think the MEC should be given a new weapon, tired of the old G3, I think that would live up many rounds of Kashan, Muttrah and other old maps with MEC on it.

Muttrah is a perfect map, it should not be changed. THe idea that a 2k map, works as a forcemultiplier with the frontline easily being static in Muttrah gives awesome situations, cause its like 200m x 2km in some ways.

^ What he said. G3 is on of the best rifles in PR. Another thread about Muttrah? It is overplayed, and no I dont think it needs any fixes. Maybe another edition, but not sure if Rhino has time to do it, or any new ideas about it.

Scoped version is really ugly
Only 20 bullets

It feels... It's what I call a slacker gun, it slacks, you have the impression to shoot everywhere, the recoil, the HUGE scope all gives the gun a "I don't give a damn where I shoot!!" feel to me, I would love the MEC to have a new weapon. Maybe some Steyr Augs would be cool :)

MEC not being a "real" faction you can give them any guns and stuff.

Ideas are not a problem to improving the map. I never completed what I initially set out to do and I've got even bigger plans for the future. Just that time and other priories are stopping me from making them a reality.

Any chance you can give a hint at what they are? I've always fantasized a Muttrah Outskirts map where the Marines continue to push either down the coast or further inland :)

Overall its the most solid map in the game. It gives predictable gameplay that still has flexible options and seamlessly fuses combined arms.

na but really there isn't much more I can do with that without making the map a 4km map or w/e which would screw up pretty much all the city as it needs the scale 2 terrain in order for things like the sea walls to work etc, just wouldn't work with scale 4 terrain.

I'm not going to go into details on the ideas I've got for Muttrah as chances are I will never get round to doing what I would like to do for Muttrah and if I do, not for a long time yet so really don't want to get anyones hopes up :p
