Basically I have a really annoying issue. For some odd reason my PC seems to be making the navigation sound (the sound it makes when you navigate through folders in Win7).
Cant really figure out whats the cause and yes, it keeps doing the damned sound even while playing games. Another symptom is that the PC is kinda slower (or at least FireFox)

I am going to post a HiJackThis log (if that helps...I think it may be malware)

Create a restore point now.
Try manual update Symantec
then
Start by shutting down background applications one at a time:

groove, WMP, winamp daemontools, hamachi, jusched, rainmeter, everything adobe, everything skype, everything OO, xfire, astroburn, firefox, etc.
Then start shutting down essential services until you BSOD.

Eventually the sound should stop

Do you use or have the drivers installed for a wireless mouse/keyboard/cellphone/other input device?

note: You probably have a pop up window that is displaying UNDER the explorer.exe gui, if you can find which program is the parent of the pop-up, you kill that program and it should stop, and show you what you need to fix. IF it is a explorer.exe parent though, you'll have to find out what the problem is in Windows, will take some more time.
