Desktop Add-ons

I'm one that likes my desktop clean and tidy and im looking for something like the picture below. Basically I want a couple of tabs on my desktop and when I click the game tab for example another box will pop up with the list of games I have.

I'm aware of of rocketdock and rainmeter just cant seem to find somthing similar. Can anyone help please.

Might I suggest rainmeter.
Oh wait.
Serious note, there are community made UIs for rainmeter that do what you are asking for.

samurize.com is the only other developed alternative that isn't super geeky,... or super buggy like AveDesk.

I tried this but it doesn't have the submenus you asking for:

SO, what I do is create directories with all the relevant shortcuts in it, then right click task bar, create a new toolbar that links to the directories.

Thanks will try out the links above to see if I can work it out. The youtube video didnt work "The URL contained a malformed video ID. - Sorry about that."

I remember someone having somthing similar on these forums on a show your desktop thread, just cant find it :cry: lets hope they see this thread.

EDIT: The Winstep Nexus Dock pay version does have the nested submenus you are looking for.

Tbh you dont want to waste you money and system resources for that. Litoralis gave you a good example how you can do it cost free and with no additional resources.

BUT if you want that to look flashy then go with any of mentioned software. I tried both Nexus dock and RocketDock, they all work fine.
