How to get "combat camera " ?

I've seen a video where a guy just had "no" kit and the video was called combat cam or something, so how can i do that? Do I have to change some settings or what? because if I just really take no kit and run then, I can still see my hands...Do you have an idea? Maybe he really took just no kit...if theres no way to take "camera man" I'll do it just without a kit..
