Generally one of two things is occurring.

1. You want to try this on each of your three installation fils, it will check the file integrity.

'[R-COM wrote:LITOralis.nMd;1743889']you can download a md5 hash checking program.
such as md5summer from md5summer.org
you want to check the file hash (which is a unique signature of the original file on the host server, which you downloaded to your client PC), if the signature is the same, then the file has 100% integrity.
How to do so:
Install and open MD5summer.
INside md5summer, one at a time, open each PR installer files.

OPen this link: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... ashes.html
compare the hashes to make sure it's the same.
Check this first. If the installation files are not corrupted, then check this.

2. Your antivirus is scanning the installaton files as they unpack and is blocking certain files. Completely turn off and shutdown your antivirus, then open the installers as an admin.

Let us know how this works.

EDIT: The installers do not have the newest BEta version of PRMumble, download it here:
'[R-COM wrote:LITOralis.nMd;1746864']No.

Download the PRMumble 1.0.0 Beta 4 from here:
http://realitymodfiles.com/dbzao/PR_Mum ... Beta_4.msi

Here is the FAQ and some tips and tricks after install:
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... ricks.html

And just remember to install PRMumble as admin. And to run PRmumble as admin and PR as admin. That solves about 85% of people's problems.

I also tested part 1-3 which i downloaded on the 12. Februrary 2012:

Code: Select all

# MD5 checksums generated by MD5summer (http://www.md5summer.org)
# Generated 21.03.2012 16:56:57

e2356322dbe5da09ae1eff47c00011aa *pr_0973_full_part1of3_setup.exe

e455b05e9a73fbe298400e7355445631 *pr_0973_full_part3of3_setup.exe
Last 3 are invalid, first 3 you quoted are fine.

SO these are the ones you want to do instal with

Code: Select all

# MD5 checksums generated by MD5summer (http://www.md5summer.org)
# Generated 21.03.2012 16:52:56

064f08f83b25c2590a8ff057773ffe09 *pr_0973_full_part1of3_setup.exe
98f2654906879eac32175a575b0e9d15 *pr_0973_full_part2of3_setup.exe
e455b05e9a73fbe298400e7355445631 *pr_0973_full_part3of3_setup.exe
Also disable/turn off any AV/IS you have while installing. It might quarantine/detect one of the files as false positive and ruin your complete game.

Just for the record this was your problem, not router and his firewall.
gina wrote:deactivated firewall and antivirus (using Norton).
Norton has Sonar ( early heuristic detection system ) which is garbage pretty much and will pick up a lot of false positives. Proven before, and proven yet again.

If you stumble upon this just turn of all Norton features while downloading ( from secure source ) and installing and you will be fine. Although I would recommend turning sonar off completely.

Glad we could help. Enjoy your game. Lock
