I downloaded the .973 mappack via desura via moddb? followed the wizard correctly...
the mappack successfully installed and is working, but all of my regular PR maps (kashan, iron eagle etc etc+downloaded maps, (karez offensive, test airfield, etc) are gone and deleted and not playable in game....
help!

If you open folder where your game is installed and go to ...Battlefiled2/mods/pr/levels are there level folders and which ones?
You might accidentally moved levels folder somewhere else? Also Desura and Moddb downloads are not the same so which one you used? It shouldn't matter much cause installers must be the same. If you suspect its a broken download report it.
If you accidentally deleted levels folder only way to fix it is to reinstall PR. Check your Recycle bin first and subfolders in game root..you might moved it by accident.
