no servers or maps

I just downloaded and installed the PR:BF2 v0.97 full client. My copy of BF2 is through steam, and though PR is not in steam, it still launches through my steam copy of BF2. The steam overlay seems to work fine while in game, but I'm having some issues while in-game, mentioned below.

Firstly, when I try to search for a game either in co-op or deployment, I get a blank list with no servers. When I click the refresh search buttons, I still get nothing.

When I try to create a new game in co-op, I get no list of maps to choose from. I tried downloading and installing the PR:BF2 v0.97 Map Pack, but I have no change in the list of maps (that is to say, I have no maps still).

If I try to create a game in deployment, the game just crashes and closes.

Any ideas?
