Just a quick suggestion and a question at the same time ( dont know if really writing in the correct place ) as I am thinking that the DEV team might be already working on some alternative insurgency layouts. Imo Insurgency is sort of boring atm in the means of strategy and realism. I was wondering if maybe creating some kind of alternate layout for all maps (combination of *** and the regular INS cache hunt) would be a good idea. Something similar to what Korengal used to be like back in the day with the outpost however with more emphasis on the flag/objective, for instance BLUFOR would win if they hold the flag for over 30 mintues or maybe 1 hour (there would only be one flag and it could be like the most imporant location on the map such as the biggest town etc.) this in real life could symbolize establishing control of some region. There could still be caches but less like 4 with infinite spawn (affected only if BLUFOR is close obvsiouly) for INS from where the INS/TALIBAN would assault the objective. BLUFOR could also win by taking out the caches however the intelligence would be gathered slower as those locations would be like in the countryside/mountatins areas of the map where TALIS/INS rule.
I think something like this layout would be much more similiar to what is happening in Afghanistan now.
