[?] How can I edit a bundledmesh?

I need to edit the K98_Sniper.bundledmesh file, because I want to add a scope to it.
So what I've done is that I imported the K98_Sniper.bundledmesh in 3Dsmax9 wiht the BF2 tools, cleaned up the useless lods, etc. Then I imported the scope.
Once there, how can I export this new bundledmesh with the scope so I can use it ingame?

Do I need to follow Tonnie's tutorial just for adding a scope?

if you don't already have an export scene for the weapon you will have to re-export it again yes, although I wouldn't follow tonnies video.

What do you mean by an export scene?

A 3DsMax scene where the object is setup for export to BF2, with full lods, cols and all its moving parts separated and all linked up correctly, as well as correct materials applied to the mesh etc.

Well it should, since we use that bundledmesh ingame. So how do I "quick" export it with the scope now on it? That's the thing

I have imported the K98 bundledmesh in 3Dsmax9 with the BF2 tools.
Then I have imported the no4, deleted everything from it except the scope, I have put the scope on the K98.
Now what? That's the thing, how can I export/save the new bundledmesh with the scope?

Parent the scope to the geom0 lod1 of the k98 export and then with the Poe tools, export the weapon.

your better off attaching it fully unless its somehow going to be animated, less draw calls.

Actually Chuc.. wich POE tool do I use to export?
When I try with the exporter it says :
MAXScript
---------------------------
Error! Could not create file:
C:/Program Files/EA GAMES/Battlefield 2/mods/pr_edit/objects/Weapons/Handheld/K98_sniper/Meshes/k98_sniper.bat
---------------------------
OK

Version 0.30a (only compatible with 3DsMax9, v9, not 2009) but like I keep saying, you need to set the object up for export again:

Ok, it looks like this worked. I ran the wizard for the bundledmesh, and this is what it gives me :
Looks like it's ready for export or something will all those fancy colors. Now what do I do with this? How can I export? Where will it export it?
Thanks for your help.
