Ok, so I join an online game, This is in Co-Op and Multiplayer, and about 5 minutes in the game freezes for like a minute and then it says I was booted for having a disallowed program/driver what does that mean?

Punkbuster is kicking you because it thinks you are running some kind of cheat program. Now I believe that you are an honest player, like most players here. Are you running BF2 from Steam? If you are you need to disable Steam in-game by going to Settings ->In-game -> deselect Enable Steam Community In-game -> OK and then your good to go.
