Why didn't you guys fix the problem for Ejod?

Setting my textures, or terrain to medium is not an option for my pc.

CTD like 4 times already on it.

Yeah, setting terrain to medium seems the only way to fix this. That or make sure to disconnect the moment you notice that the server you're on is switching to EJOD.

I just deleted the map from the PR\Levels folder.

Yeah Terrain to med is what did it for me with ejod and a couple other maps from the .32 rls....

Now with .4... we're gonna have to figure out what the mappers 'forgot' again...

I'm getting CTD's with Qwai River just like i used to with ejod etc. from .32 ... wonder what graphic setting I need to change to make it work this time .... any hints on what you didn't account for IRONTAXI ?

Guys, the mappers have medium to high end computers because if they didnt, there is no way theyd be able to make the map in a humane amount of time. they cant test all of em..

sorry, but changing maps in a manner that they run on ALL computers, is not question of the hardware but of the technique your mappers use.
IF (!) your mod has so many players, that it`s not necessarry to care for those, who have slower systems, you can exclude them.

Topf just my personal opinion man... I understand you gotta cater to all the crappy computers out there..... but I think that sucks. Id say majority of PR players run good setups, there is a minority that run shitty systems, but this is just an assumption based not on statistics..

fuzzhead at least here at brazil most of the users got crapy systems

and the ones that got good computers are actualy medium end pcs compared to the rest of the world =)
