Graphics Card Opinions
I've been having a lot of trouble with my aging Sapphire HD5870 and am looking at replacing it. I've been an ATI\AMD loyalist for 10 years but I' m switching to NVidia after the horrible experience I've been having with this card (Wont' get into it here).
I'm looking at a GTX 670 for a replacement. Anyone here have any experience with this card. Experience related to PRA2 would be appreciated as well.
I also need suggestions as to what manufacturer to buy from. Seeing I haven't been buying Nvidia cards I don't know which one to trust.
I'm looking at the following brands
Gigabyte
Asus
EVGA
Anyone have experience with Nvidia products from these manufacturers in the past with regard to performance, reliablity, warranty support etc.

Do you intend to run at VERY high resolutions? If not, you can probably get a 660ti for about $309 with essentially the same capabilities as a 670. Every ASUS product I have used so far has worked brilliantly, although I have very little experience with their graphics cards (I have only bought one ASUS GPU) they do look solid there as well.

I don't like the sound of under performing memory controller...I'll stick with the 670.
"It seems Nvidia has simply put aside GTX 670 cores with underperforming memory controllers, lowered their memory bandwidth and whacked them onto a GTX 660Ti PCB."

Then the GTX670 is probably right for you, but I wouldn't go with Gigabyte. ASUS and EVGA I believe are generally similar in performance and reliability, but certain EVGA models can be pricey for what you get.
Those EVGA Classified.... look awesome..... for older cards. Don't think a Classified 670 is out yet.

ASUS - meh = to big cooler
EVGA - does they even thinking about cooling?
MSI - FTW, really good cooling and OC options with it. Get either Power edition or Hawk or Lightning version

Apparently the ASUS 670 cards are plaqued with issues. At least the TOP version is, they are talking about getting one that is stable out of the box is a lottery.
Rethinking
Maybe EVGA FTW

EVGA has lifetime warranty if you have the money, end of story
if you dont have the money for an EVGA, id go for gigabyte (but im kind of a gigabyte fanboy)

Re: Graphics Card Opinions
I was reading that EVGA doesn't have lifetime anymore ... any thruth to this?
Edit:
Looked on EVGA site and different cards have different warranty codes. The one I'm looking at has lifetime.
