I'm quite a newb to PR, as I've never had the confidence to move past the "Co-operative" option. Also because I've never had the opportunity to get accustomed to the mod (which, I must say straight away, is great, it has what I had been looking for in BF3, or at least, what I've been able to experience so far).
I must have been able to play 5 hours in total in co-op servers, until I got a message one day, a few moments after getting in the server, that I had "Lost connection to the server", after it had froze for a second, and booted me to the server browser.
This happened a long time ago, and I never made a big attempt to solve it until now. But, after two hours of searching and trying solutions found on this forum, I decided to open a thread, because I'm pretty desperate and maybe someone has a better idea of what's causing the problem.
So far, the steps I've taken are:
-Reinstall BF2 and PR 0.973
-Reinstall Punkbuster (and all the hidden files it has in the PC)
-Follow all possible solutions given on this post.
-Disable Steam Overlay
-Increase priority levels of all processes used during PR Multiplayer (including both Punkbuster services) with ProcessLasso
-Make PB create an error log file, that says the following:

This last one has had me scratching my head for the last hour, and was the final argument that convinced me to ask myself... is Punkbuster really kicking me for my name?

P.S.: if it helps, the first time I ever try to join a server after starting PR up, it gives me the "Lost connection to server" message straight away. If I try to join the server again, it loads, but kicks me with the same justification a few moments after getting in the server. It's as if the game is predicting my failure!
