PR launches into vBF2 on startup

Upon starting PR, the normal startup movies for PR play, but then it shows the vBF2 menus with the PR map list.
I've tried launching as admin, but that won't help.

This usually happens if you change the installation directory of PR, or if the registry key for the PR installation location is incorrect.

So, did you alter: Battlefield 2\mods\pr location ?

Can you check in regedit this value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Project Reality\Project Reality: BF2
And make sure the InstallDIr is set to the correct directory for your BF2 installation.

I haven't moved the pr folder, but there doesn't seem to be a registry key for PR.

Please give us a more detailed posting on the problem,

have you had PR installed for a while and it suddenly failed?

Did you update to 0.981?

what system specs?

ANy other info you think relevant, please add.

I've had PR installed since about the release of .973. I noticed this happen around the time the .973 map pack came out, but I figured it would probably fix itself on the next update.

I've already updated to .981

My specs I feel are irrelevant, but here they are anyway.

Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Intel i7-2600 3.4GHz quad-core
8 GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce GT 530
