Crash

Hello, im not sure if this post goes here, so sry if its posted wrong.

But after I downloaded the new(est) patch, I keep crashing to desktop.
Any other got this problem, I keep signin in to PR and play. And after about 5-10 min it crash again to desktop.

Hope anyone got the answer here

And what you need to do, is give more information about the problem

Run PR in windowed mode to see if it gives you a CTD error

Edit your PR shortcut and put this in it

Dont just copy paste this, but adjust to your install location. Make sure you dont omit quotation marks or it wont work.
If you start in windowed mode and it CTDs, a Message will pop up telling you the problem. Take a screenshot or write this down and post it to this thread.

Yeah ok I did that, dint crash this time. But now the window is very low on desktop. So I cant see ammo, or sprint or North East West South

What is your native screen resolution? (Right click on the desktop)

This is the numbers you add to your shortcut:

For example.. mine would be

+fullscreen 0 +szx 1680 +szy 1050

not

+fullscreen 0 +szx 1280 +szy 720

its 1366 x 768 (its recomended)

Why? Should I put that in instead of 1280 x 720?

You have an error log in your battlefiels2/mods/pr directory.

The file is called PRerror.log

Open that up and scroll to the bottom, copy several of the entries and paste them in this thread. We'll see if we can figure this out.

Hello, I dont want to make new thread so I am writing here.

Since 0.98, I started getting a lot of CTD (well it was about 5-6 times, but compared to the 2-3 yearly before). Its not like always after 10 minutes like the other guy reports, but its still quite annoying. The game simply crashes into desktop without anything special happening ingame. Tried turning off SM 0.5, but it didnt help. When I asked people on the server, like 5 people responded they have similar problems, and thats just those who responded on a 60-player server.

I am posting the latest error log of CTD that happened half an hour ago:
