Mumble, Hotkey problems.
I dont have any issues linking to BF2, and my mic works fine. When mumble is open, and i join a game and a squad, Mumble puts me into that squad as it should. However nobody hears me because the default hot keys dont do anything. when i open mumble and look at my name in the list i can see that when i press a hotkey the mic symbol does not light up. My solution is to re-run the audio wizard, and after doing so mumble works fine. Once i click on PR and start playing again, the hotkeys fail to work once again and the mic symbol next to my name does not light up no matter what key i press.

Hi, welcome to the forum,
This is a new one for me,
My first thought is your keyboard hook is not functioning properly, are you running any other voip software, like Xfire, Overwolf, Skype, TS3, Ventrilo, etc at the same time?
As usual, I have to tell you this:

Are you running a PRMumble overlay?Install PRMumble with a windows admin account.
join PRMumble first.

No Im not using any other voip software, I have no other versions of mumble installed. Not aware of anything called mumble overlay. I also checked to see if my numlock key was activated, with no luck.

Re: Mumble, Hotkey problems.
You had a problem originally installing PR due to your antivirus, I suggest quickly uninstalling and reinstalling PRMumble 1.0.0.4Beta to see if your antivirus might have caused this.
First: Control Panel, Unisntall Program->UNinstall PRMumble 1.0.04Beta
Second:
Press Win + R and type "%appdata%" in it (without quotes) and press enter. It should open YourUsername>AppData>Roaming
Then you can delete complete PRMumble folder after you uninstall mumble first. Reinstall and it should work.
Third: Log into windowes with an admin account, disable your antivirus for a few minutes, Reinstall PRMumble installer giving the installer admin rights,
download PRMumble 1.0.0.4Beta here: http://realitymodfiles.com/dbzao/PR_Mum ... Beta_4.msi

Re: Mumble, Hotkey problems.
Actually, it was my headphones causing the problem. turns out that when i start mumble, the headphones that are plugged in get sound signals from mumble and mumble only. PR
's sound comes out my computer speakers. when I started PR i would unplug my headphones and plug them back in so i could hear PR. When i did this mumble thought there was no speakers so it would do nothing. How i do i change the settings on mumble, or bf2, or my computer so that everything comes through the phones.

Re: Mumble, Hotkey problems.
shutdown PR and PRMumble,
Get to your audio manager,
Control Panel->Manage Audio Device-> and select your headphone jack as your default audio device.
Now, this is all fine and well, except you don't want to have to do all of these steps every single time you want to play PR, and then reverse the steps when finished playing PR.
TO fix this, please follow this link to create a hotkey switcher for default audio device, and you'll thank me for it,

You can also use this little program that sits in the taskbar, it works well, only exception is if you have 7.1 speakers, Audio device switcher for Windows 7 - [H]ard|Forum
