as the title says, there are some things that influence the realisim of the gameplay in PR like:
1.MEC: well we all know that the MEC is in battlefield vanilla, and it is not in real life, actually there is nothing real in the MEC, not their weapon origins, not their uniforms, not their flag, let me start with their weapons, if it happens and the middle east states established a coalition, 80 percent of them have western tanks, aircrafts and various vehicles, mainly Egypt, Jordan, all Gulf states, Saudi-Arabia and Iraq (Iraq has a mixture of eastern and western since 2003), plus the mentioned states dont have German small arms, atleast not as front line service, or even not used by the army, second is their uniforms, well no mentioned states have those uniforms, every state have got a different uniform, the last thing is the flag, since there should be no place for the MEC then there should be no place for there flag, none of the middle east have any flag similar to that one that MEC got.
2.Taliban: in PR Talibans radio is in arabic, while in real life, most of their fighters if not ALL speak afghani language, not arabic, maybe Taliban-Pakistan speak Urdu, not arabic.
3.NVA (north Vietnamese army): in PR NVA radio is in chinese, well of course in real life they speak vietnamese, not chinese, i know it is maybe hard to find someone who speaks those languages to remake the sounds, but because it is Project Reality, nothing should be hard.
These are the things that need to be changed in project reality, what do you think, you can add anything, or tell if im wrong since this a discussion.

Well, most of those things have been suggested to change, and you should know it's not easy to find someone do the hardwork required for free, as we all know this mod is free and the DEVs are working on it voluntarily and we should appreciate their work.
The points you adressed aren't really a big realism meter (nor gameplay changer) as PR is meant to be realistic in terms of gameplay mostly, compare it to any other mod for Battlefield 2 and you won't find gameplay that is similar to PR.
And to be honest, the commo rose shouldn't be used for communication anyways, that's why we have the awesome PR Mumble.

A lot of those aren't big issues, the MEC is mostly based off of Iran anyways. NVA needs Vietnamese vos which we don't have atm, Taliban, mostly speak Pushtu, it's kind of hard to find someone who speaks that language. Overall these issues aren't issues.

I'd like to add that if you find someone that speaks this, he has to have a decent voice for it, plus the ability to record in good quality.'[R-DEV wrote:Spush;1854578']it's [-]kind of[/-] hard to find someone who speaks that language

Ok, NVA speaking chinese is a bit meh. Arabic is close enough for the Tali.
MEC is frigging FICTIONAL. Do you go to the movies and yell at the screen for 3 hours that its unreal?

Best bet is actually pashtun or dari. Dari I know pretty well, slang ect. But I don't have the smooth slur you hear in real life.hussamsoft wrote: 2.Taliban: in PR Talibans radio is in arabic, while in real life, most of their fighters if not ALL speak afghani language, not arabic, maybe Taliban-Pakistan speak Urdu, not arabic.

I think the DEVs wont add a fictional faction, but haha yes i would do that if it is a reality show, such as a magic show, I hope you get what I mean, it is a reality mod so everything is supposed to be realHeavy Death wrote:Ok, NVA speaking chinese is a bit meh.
