PR:BF2 on Laptop - Highest settings

Post by carmikaze »

Hey, i want to sell my pc and buy a laptop, because im gonna study soon.

I want to play PR:BF2 on max. settings (and max AA if possible). Im not interested in playing bf3, Arma or anything like that, just PR!

So it would be very helpful if you guys could tell me on which laptop you play PR on the highest settings.

My Budget is limited, and as i already mentioned i dont need a highend laptop :)

cheers

Core i3 or i5 (at least), dedicated GPU (GT 630M or HD7650M), decent amount of RAM. ;) These are main guidelines - rest look for durability (dont buy plastic shit), battery life, screen 15.6'' or maybe even 14'' could work (so you could see stuff) and I think that's about it. ;)

I've got an old laptop that ran PR:BF2 on high settings and it had a Intel Core 2 Duo and Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT.

It really wouldn't take much with the newer ones. Hell, integrated graphics could probably do it.

I bought an Asus P43E that's about 500$ that runs PR on high settings pretty well (25-40ish fps or so) and even better with Razer Gamebooster . Don't know the exact specs and such but iirc it has core i3. Unfortunately, I spilt some water over it and now its being repaired.

Yeah, I finally upgraded to a new one after a few of years (only to have it stolen). May start looking for another laptop soon as I don't have one that works anymore.

Smooth and no problems.
