Grid overlay for textures

I swear once I saw a minimap with a grid overlay showing where each detail and color texture corresponds to in your level. I have searched but the PR search function is not the best and I got fed up searching,sooo anyone have it? I need to re-tpaint and area and don't want it to effect my whole level.
