Showing PR some love.

Post by nickito »

I made a video about how many people still play BF2. I had to mention the best mod ever made for the game. I know I could have said A TON more but I my mission was to let people know they could still play PR any time of the day.

Feedback is always welcome.

At 7:09 you talk about PR 1.0, which you mention is a standalone. This is incorrect, 1.0 is going to continue to be on the BF2 engine.

PR:Arma3 is in the works (on the ARMA3 engine, obviously)
PR2 is in the works (on the Cryengine3 SDK, hopefully standalone?)

My mistake. Thanks!

Wow, great job. Great narration and thoughtful comments. I hope those players that aren't familiar with PR find it enticing... and find their way here.

Again, great job and thanks. :)

Oh, and you might want to fix the spelling of Battlefield on your YouTube video header. Right now it says "Battlefiled" and that may make it hard for people to find it in their searches.

Thanks! That means a lot my friend. I cant believe I misspelled Battlefield, lol. If this video gets as much attention as my "Do people sill play Battlefield 2142" then we should turn a few heads for sure!

Good video, but is it my impression or you said that the few populated servers in PR are mostly located in the US?

That couldn't be more far from the truth. You probably popped up when all the euros are sleeping. In the US there are 2 populated servers and in Europe around 5.

GREAT VIDEO NICKITO! Brought back some fond memories, and I loved the AT rocket to the face on Oman, that was beautiful as was your timing on the jet kills with the AT rocket. Thanks man! I need to get my solo attack chopper game on.
"What's the advantage of these choppers when compared to a squad medic?"

Pirate

"Medics dont have rotors."

I must have missed the euro servers. HOG and CIA seem to be the top servers when I try to play.

Thanks a lot man. AT vs jets was one of my favorite BF2 activities.
