the M1A2 Abrams TUSK from PR to AP (Alpha Project)

Hi,
like the title is saying, I'm trying to convert the
M1A2 Abrams TUSK from
PR to
AP.
But I need your help.
I have already knowlenge about transpotrting mods (my Version of
AP [alpha project] isnt very original

)and change .tweak files etc.
But this is too hard for me, Iknow where the textures and meshes must be but...
When I tried it first there was no Tank existing ingame...

I hope you could give me tips what to do.

Unless you show something that would allow you to use PR's resources on your own mod, I don't think anyone is going to help you out on this one.

It's actually a breach of copyright to import anything from Project Reality to any other mod without prior written permission from PR management. As such I will be getting a mod to close this topic.

I just trying to convert this beautiful Abrams for myself and
I can promise that I don't release what I've done with this mod.
I hope you can help me now...

How did you convert it with respect to coding? Did you rename PR's M1A2 to replace AP's or not? If you didn't, did you modify your map's GamePlayObjects.con to spawn it?

In that case you should done quite a bit of renaming in the code as well as texture path changes within the meshes. If you're not sure how to do all of that, for now I'd advise adding it alongside AP's M1A2 and changing GPOs in the maps to spawn PR's M1A2 because that would be quite a bit simpler.

Also remember that you need to copy also other objects used by tank, such as drive sights.

My apologies Mr.Pfannenschmidt. I took your original post as that you were going to release it
WITH Alpha Project. As the other dev's and con's have stated it's fine if you're just doing it for personal use. I'd just like to note that I am sorry I came to a conclusion a little too fast.
I can't help you very much but it seems to me that you screwed up the hierarchy or something.
Hopefully you can get this issued fixed with due diligence.

It essentially doesn't want you using 3.5 GB of RAM. It's "not sane" according to Windows.

It means waay too much memoryload on startup.

Doesn't have to be that, it could be you did something weird, which causes BF2 to snap.

What have you changed recently? When it has happened to me, it was usually the result of adding several very large sound files.
