problem starting

Post by mries »

Hi,

I installed bf deluxe edition, updated 1.41 and 1.5
then downloaded PR beta 1.0 and mumble installed.
first half hour i played bf, it worked perfect.
now i wanted to start PR and it shows me this after downloading and updating just before finishing:
Error
76: update failed error validating file integrity after update
c :p rogamfiles....... mods\pr_beta\bin\reality.net.dll

Im using a windows 7 laptop

Anybody having an idea and how to fix it?

Thanks!

Please try again, that might already solve it. If you've tried several times with no progress, please report back here and provide your system information (Support Info from the launcher, copy & paste it here)

Its the stacked updates, had the same problem, just run a few times. It seems to do the updates in the order they came out. So from 1.01 to 1.03 I have to run updater twice. once from 1.01 to 1.02 and once from 1.02 to 1.03.

Between these updates the integrity checker seems to already check for the most recent version instead of the version it just updated to.

Naa, not quite, was another issue, but that issue was fixed in 1.0.20.0 :) .

Code: Select all

- Fixed issue with multiple updates at once giving file verification errors.
But yeah, you need to get to that version first, and the previous updates had the issue, so yeah, just keep running the launcher over and over until it gets to the latest version :) .
