USMC Spotter Alt has scoped rifle

Post by lucky.BOY »

On USMC, both standard and alternative versions of the spotter kit feature ACOG. Ie., they are identical. I think alt version should get a cqb sight, be it irons, aimpoint or eotech.

I noticed that some people take a spotter kit and then play with it alone or in a infantry squad. They think it's some sort of ninja-kit. :D
Maybe spotter kit should get no scope at all to stop such people from taking it? Spotter has a gun to ensure a sniper's security, aimpoint should be enough.

I didnt notice people use the kit by themselves, all you get is a service rifle, any two enemies at once will kill you, because youre armed as well as them. Plus, the thing fires tracers, so good luck acting as a "sniper"

I would also like a nice reflex for the spotter kit, it compliments the sniper best. Which by the way is amazing, Two man sniper team on ramiel, the M24 totaled 44 kills, not counting the ones resuscitated. It's great. Such a thing wasn't possible before, you need 4 men for a rope, and that's too many for a sniper team.

Actually, you can choose between an M16 and M4 Carbine.
