Missile sounds

The sounds for missiles sounds like its more distorted and whistle-like than what I would assume is realistic. When a helo fires above my head, it starts off sounding awesome, and then it just turns into a flying referees whistle.

I'm using an asus soundcard with an astro a40 headset and mixamp.
