I've just updated to the latest version v1.0.26.0 and cleared the caches to see if that would fix the long delay when launching.

Now when I go to Join Internet and click Update List all I see if FPPR with no players on it!

You do know the beta ended, don't you?

Ah, I do know

So I just run the old mods/pr/pr,exe to play the non-beta version?

Yes, you can't use the new launcher to run the previous version. Whatever you did to start the old version should remain the same.
