Put PRSPY on the PR Loader?

Post by TOWtotheHEAD »

It'd be nice to be able to check the servers from the loader without having to run the game.

PRSPY data isn't always fresh nowadays and it'd be nice to not have to keep your browser or PR open just to check the servers and if clanmates and friends on. I think it'd look pretty professional too 8)

So you want to know what servers are running, but you don't want to run PR or a browser to check PRspy, you'd want it in the launcher?

That doesn't make any sense. I can understand if you don't want your browser open while playing PR, but that's about it. Either run PR or go to PRspy.

Why do we have a launcher then, when we could just start the game like in vanilla Bf2 and 0.98 :P

Reason: Comfort.

I see no comfort in having prspy in the launcher to be honest.

I'll leave this open for now, though I doubt this will ever be implemented.

The very same Idea occurred to me yesterday as well. I decide whether I am going to play PR based on what maps are currently being played on US servers. As such, I always have to launch and close my browser before launching PR. There are a hundred more important things to work on than this, but I for one would very much appreciate it.

Why close the browser? When gaming I always have my browser open but minimized. Worked well when I had 4 GB of ram, works good today with 8GB.

Guys, we are not couch call of duty potatoes, we can't be TOO comforty to refresh a browser window...

What I would LOVE though is an auto-update function on PRSpy that auto-updates every 10-20 seconds.

Thanks.
