Maps (m) change colour of player

Hello hardcore players of PR,

I have a little issues about the maps in PR. When I bring out the map of the area. I always have troubles to see where Iam. Somehow the map doesnt focus the point where you are. And it cost me little time to see what blue dot belongs to me.

What i really like to see its to change the colour of my dot player on the map. So I wound kill or frag or blow my own men!

Is this possible?

This game is meant to play in a Squad, so you can only one of the 7 green dots. If your officer had set a marker a line from your dot to the marker will appear, additional you can simply use "n" and scrollwheel to zoom at the map, it will zoom to player position so its easier to tell.

If you click your own name in the squad you're in (on the spawn/squad screen, default caps lock or home), then you show up as a white dot on the map.

That only works when in that screen though, not in the normal map screen.

Most people use squad screen Map as the extra info is useful, plus the white player is vital sometimes too.
