Push to talk issues.

Hey,
My mumble does not seem to want to use push to talk even though I have keys set for it.. People can hear me in game even when I am not talking or pushing to talk. This occurs whether I am using my external mic or my computers built in mic. I am running projectreality on windows 7 (bf2 was purchased through direct2drive). I have tried configuring mumble many times. VOIP is not enabled so I don't think it has anything to do with that..Basically people hear me when I am not intending for them too, and when this occurs my local audio cue does not show up. I am only aware because people are saying that I have an "open mic". Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated.

Most interesting is that PRMumble has specifically removed the ability to have an open mic...

In the PRLauncher->Options->Mumble
check the shortcuts for local speech, local speech alt,
squad speech, squad speech alt,
make sure they aren't set to some common key you are pressing, like 'W' or something silly.

If you have to change a keybind in that menu, remember to press APPLY on the bottom right.

Thanks for the reply. I have "H" set for local speech and "numpad0" for squad radio. I have no key binds for the local alt or squad radio alt. I am still having the issue.

Try launching PR Mumble, and resetting all settings to default.

Hi. When I talk in Mumble, I cannot see my name appearing on the screen but I can see other people. It is not really a major problem but an annoyance. I have the default keys and they are in conflict. Any help would be appreciated.

Sometimes i got it too that my mates say that my mic is open. When i restart Pr mumble its gone. I have the ptt button linked to my 4th mouse button but sometimes it just sends even if i stopped to press that button.
