Hi all,
With the release of 1.0 I started to record my playtime with Fraps, and after a week of play I had a full hard-drive and plenty of awesome footage of the new release.
I decided to put together a highlights video that show's off some of the new features, along with plenty of those 'PR Moments'.
I took the approach of keeping it simple, and tried to make the video appeal to veteran players, newbies to PR, and to encourage those who haven't tried it to give it a shot.
Well here you go :: Project Reality 1.0 - First Month Release Highlights - YouTube
So give it a watch, and give me some feedback. And if you think it's good as a promotional video spread it around as much as you like.
Thanks!
(I hope I didn't infringe on any copyrights for the logo / music etc, if so discuss with me!)

There is some cool moments in here, like the the killing of hotel snipers with sidemounted chopper guns... I must do that.
Also the two tanks firing at an enemy tank and missing... you cans ee the epic effects... last but not least, the under fire littlebird escape on ramiel... These are some proper hollywood/cod moments!

Ye, and the verities of roles you played in. Think the only real role I didn't see in there was jet pilot, possibly chopper pilot too (although you did chopper gunning and riding in them) but ye, awesome video

Pretty cool! I would like to have seen more squad comms. It shows how PR is different than your typical FPS where people are working together to accomplish objectives. But I liked that you did indeed show players being together and all that in the mix with all the kill shots. Good stuff!

The music at 8:00 really took me back to what or where I don't know.
Nice variation very well done fast enough scene changes to be interesting.
Good job nybble.

Re: Project Reality 1.0 - My Highlights Video
Thanks for the positive feedback
dbzao, I realized after I'd completed it that it was missing any footage of close communications, which is a shame but at least it will give me to motivation to make another video in the near future.
I would like to get one going where I can have split-screen footage of different players working together.
Showing one player lazing then another running in with CAS would be pretty awsome, and including all the comms would really show off what PR is about.
I learned alot from making this highlights video so my next production should be even better!
My biggest struggle right now is finding the right music, as I used up my favorite PR tunes so it could be hard to find more, so I'll take any suggestions now and might incorporate them at a later date

Music is always an issue. You could try to find some suitable from Kevin MacLeod:
