Weird Sprinting Problem

Okay, so I've been noticing this a lot more now in 1.0 but it seems like occaisionally after sprinting your character continues to sprint on the spot. Stamina continues to drain and you can't do anything else. It's a pain because as you're running to cover you then have to wait to get prone, pull out your weapon and .....

I don't see any pattern for replication other than just sprinting and then stopping with some stamina left.
