Playing blufor, a guy in my squad used a SVD for an extended period of time and did not die. I'm trying to remember what map but maybe mod wide, didn't test yet.

Seems like he is saying that a guy on his team was using the SVD (a limited kit) without dying.

Now, there's 2 very obvious reasons

Perhaps you were Militia or Russia?
